ROSE EXTRACT (Rosa Damascena Extract)


ABOUT THE INGREDIENT

Rosa damascena mill L, commonly known as Damask rose, is one of the most important species of the Rosaceae family. Rosaceae are well-known ornamental plants and have been referred to as the king of flowers.

At present time, over 200 rose species and more than 18000 cultivars form of the plant has been identified. Rosa Damascena flowers should handpick daily in the early morning and are used immediately after harvesting for industrial purposes.

The Rosa Damascena has also been used for medicinal purposes.
